This acronym <strong>RACI<\/strong> means:<\/p>\n<p><b>R<\/b>: Responsible (Perform): This is the resource that Performs activity. There may be several <strong>R<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<strong>A<\/strong>: Accountable (Authority): Has the authority to approve the work <strong>A<\/strong>. There is only one <strong>A<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<strong>C<\/strong>: Consulted (Accessed): Is consulted by <strong>R<\/strong>. Communication between <strong>R<\/strong> and <strong>C<\/strong> is bidirectional. There may be several <strong>C<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<strong>I<\/strong>: Informed: Is only informed of the work of <strong>R<\/strong>. There may be several <strong>I<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThe <strong>RACI<\/strong> matrix shows activities and roles as in the example below. In each cell of the table, indicate the role of responsibility for the activity using the letters of <strong>RACI<\/strong>. For sustainability, it is advisable to use according to generic labels to describe the roles rather than people&#8217;s names.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marense.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/RACI.jpeg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2219\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2219\" src=\"https:\/\/www.marense.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/RACI.jpeg\" alt=\"RACI, RACI matrix, Role, Responsability, Project management, Action plan\" width=\"413\" height=\"277\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>RACI<\/strong> can be used to establish responsibility for a project but also a business. In a document template, it can also indicate who has to write (<strong>R<\/strong>) or validate (<strong>C<\/strong>) any part. There is only one person who validates the whole document (<strong>A<\/strong>).
