What means lean management?

It is the set of techniques to eliminate all non-value added activities. Lean management is therefore essentially a management technique focused to reduce losses generated within an organization, for production and a better yield.

The main goals of lean management:

Amélioration, Improvement, Amélioration continue, Continuous improvement

  • Reduce inventory,
  • Increase productivity,
  • Optimize quality.

Methodological approach of lean management

Lean management, beyond being a set of methods, based on the human factor. It suggests that the staff works in a mindset oriented towards the reduction of waste and losses (time, materials, money …). The motivation and the behavior of people are needed for effective implementation.
